Stories from 1925 to the present – celebrating our Centenary
For 100 years, young people have been at the heart of our organisation. Since 1925, the St John Ambulance Cadet program has given children as young as eight the chance to learn first aid and contribute to their communities — a legacy carried forward by generations of Cadets and Youth members.
As we celebrate this Centenary, we reflect on its beginnings and the many people who shaped its story. While we cannot capture every experience, the memories shared here offer a glimpse of the program’s lasting impact on young people and their communities.
